Yes. Wings and breasts. Look at the menu for all the choices.
Yes they do because it is through the week
Check the online menu
Just called someone said the ac wasn't working
Yeah they did. Now the closest one is in Springfield!
If you paid with card, they should be able to locate receipt. As far as potato, if it was a problem, contact Smokey Bones through their web page. They should contact you (fairly quickly if I remember my issue correctly) and will make it right. Corporate Management really does care!!!!!!!
It's good to let them know that, hopefully you got a credit
Not certain...call ahead anyway.
They do call ahead, but no reservations.
Yes they are
Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Best sprite I’ve ever had, it’s not your typical sprite. The pulled pork with the green top sauce was amazing and the chicken sandwich as well. I HATE Mac and cheese, the one I received from here was fantastic.
Portions very small for price not very flavorful.cute atmosphere but was kinda disappointed.
Great food and great attention to Covid 19 protection.
Great food, but it's a little pricey. Don't be surprised paying 30 bucks a plate and 5 bucks for a domestic beer or $8.50 for a milkshake. If you're okay with that it's a great place to eat!
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Fantastic atmosphere, no wait to get a table. Unique dishes that I haven't seen anywhere else before. Loved the funny bonisms on the walls.
Great place and great food. If you like ribs you gotta check them out. Pulled pork and brisket are great options as well.
The food is good when you actually get it. I’ve had six (6) DoorDash or UberEats orders where they forget up to half the order. I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s very irritating.
They were short staff but Mike was an excellent waiter. Even though he was busy he keep checking to make sure me and my sis was good. The food and the drinks were bomb
Waited 45 minutes for what should have been an easy meal. We watched 8 other customers come and go. 3 of which occurred prior to giving the staff member our name. Also, one of the cooks walked out to the lot. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt and shorts with his apron. With my history while in food service this is an unsanitary dress code violation. The meal was not very satisfying. Very disappointed tonight.
Would have given this a five stars, but my husband and I both thought the food was over salted. Very tasty shredded chicken, turkey, ribs and pork. The homemade BBQ chips were also enjoyable.
We love good BBQ but it's not always easy to find. We had a great waitress who answered our questions. We chose the Bone Grill for 2 and a combo plate with pulled pork & brisket. It was all good. My favorite was the brisket & ribs. Very rarely am I happy with brisket when I eat out. It is usually dry and not a lot of flavor. This was juicy & tender with great flavor. The ribs were fall of the bone good. When we come back I will definitely get the brisket & ribs again.
Ordered food for pickup a week ago. Waited the original 20 minutes I was first advised and then 50 more minutes in the parking lot. Called twice to speak to Mgr. Told he was too busy to come to the phone. Was hung up on 9 times and advised they had phone issues. Waitress first told me they ran out of chicken and couldn't cook anything else. I told her I didn't order chicken. Finally got cold food, talked to Manager and advised I had a 10.00 coupon that waitress rudely advised me I should have told her first. He said he would comp meal which he did not. Even charged us extra .75 for mustard on hamburger. Prices are ridiculous, orders are always wrong, I'm DONE.
My food was great but the service was not as welcoming as I like it to be. The Prime Rib French Dip and strawberry lemonade was delicious. The menu was large. I did not have a barbecue dish but I tasted the barbecue sauces at the table and they tasted great.
Very disappointing... My husband and I are traveling and decided to stop here to get a bite to eat. He ordered the nutty chicken salad which looked good. I ordered the pulled chicken salad. See photo. Could not bring myself to eat the lettuce it was terrible. The chicken had a good taste so at least I did have something to eat. Giving it 2 stars because the waitresses did offer to make another salad for me, but who would want that.
Bad experienceThe restaurant is cute, service was bad. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mash and gravy. The food was bland, the presentation was fast food quality 😡. I honestly felt like I was eating bland Hospital cafeteria food. Save your money, get McDonalds, or any other fast food.
Excellent as always! If you like all kinds of meat you will love this place! I always get the salmon. It is the best in central Illinois!
Amazing service, comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was AWESOME! Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich was excellent and the Hawaiian Ribeye was cooked to perfection! Well done! I never give 5 stars, so I was SUPER impressed! Clean and served in a timely manner. 😃
Great as always. Great time with family, great service, outstanding food.
Damn tasty. Best smoked wings ever. Great waitress. Speedy yet quality food service.
Good food small menu friendly staff
Normally my wife and I love the food and service here. Little pricey though. $2.99 for an ice tea for example. The BBQ sauces are very good as is the meats. Tonight I was somewhat disappointed that I kept biting into gristle in the BBQ. Not a good feeling. First time this has ever happened. Waitress didn't come back and check on us until we waved her down for drink refills. I was a little disappointed in that I understood that I could have a side of coleslaw for 99 cents. I was billed over two dollars for the coleslaw. Our waitress informed me that I was mistaken, since the 99 cents deal was for coleslaw to be on top of the BBQ and not as a side. The menu didn't plainly state this in my opinion.
Good Lord! That is all I can say. Beer - YES. BBQ - YES. If you are in Bowling Green and you like BBQ this is the place to go. We get the meal that feeds 4 to 5. Our waitress was very nice and stayed on top of our drinks.
Their pulled pork is as good as it is from a Mom n Pop place. They also have 4 pretty unique and good tasting sauces if that's your preference on your pork. The bourbon chicken breast was really good too. I've previously had their brisket a couple times and found it both times kind of watery wet and a bit tough. Not sure what was going on there, but all else is so good, who cares. Their sides ate also great as well from slaw to baked beans, to any of their tater forms. Plan on a good time and finish with their layered chocolate cake.
Barbecue is my favorite food and their pulled pork and pulled chicken were pretty good. I also loved their french fries and the variety of barbecue sauces they had. Restaurant had cute decor and was nice and clean and they had a lot of menu options.
Ordered delivery and the loaded baked potato was not loaded and the mixed berry cheesecake didn't have any sauce, berries or whipped cream. I went to the restaurant and a lady was a little short with me when I asked for the missing items. She said that when you order the mixed berry cheesecake to go it doesn't come with the berries. That doesn't make any sense at all. We tried to order an item off the menu and were told it was a dinner in only item as well. Not sure why they have different rules for dinner in or to go. Food wasn't bad but overall experience was.
Great drinks. Great food. Nice atmosphere.
Great sampler. Great variety of specialty drinks!
All the staff were awesome and attentive. The food was great and the server was very personable but not in an annoying way. The restaurant was clean and everything came out hot and correct. Highly recommend the smoked wings and the pulled pork dinner.
Food was good but friends had orders that weren't exactly as ordered
Solid offering for American style food with a wide list of options. (A little light if you're looking for vegetarian or vegan options though.) While the atmosphere is very cordial, the wait service is only average. A huge plus is the serving size for the meal that you purchase. There are plenty of tasty options to make sure that you don't leave hungry.
The restaurant was clean and everyone was working hard to keep it that way. The food was very good and the service was excellent.
The food is really good and the baby back ribs or fall off the bone sweet! We ordered the sweet doughnuts to go home! Tracy was a great server!
Ordered a combo plate with brisket and smoked sausage. Hardly enough brisket arrived on the plate to taste it. The smoked sausage tasted like sweet Italian sausage, which wouldn't be bad, except this isn't the kind of sausage I would expect from a BBQ place. Having lived in Texas and eating the best they have to offer, plus other trips to the Carolinas and Kansas City, this was pretty disappointing.
Staff was attentive, and listened, order was perfect and we never had an empty glass
Food was good, service was slow.....I had the pulled pork sandwich and my daughter had chicken strips. Both excellent. Definitely would be higher rated if it didn't take so long to get food.
The food here was exceptional. We ate at the bar and the bartender was very personable and helpful. I love to ambiance of this place. They were well above average.
We did their curbside yesterday, waiting the 30-45 minutes. We live in Decatur. Once home, I noticed that we were overcharged by $3 for the $19.99 rib dinner. Not sure why. Also included a drink which I didn’t receive. I ordered just as the online menu states. With that said, I must say that the ribs and baked beans were delicious. Love the cole slaw when we eat in house but this was not good in my take out order.
I had the burnt ends and the brisket and a Blue Moon after an afternoon taking in the sites around Springfield. Although the taste was not what I expected it was ok. I have to admit, I think it left a permanent grease stain on my soul.
Just happened upon this place en route to another restaurant nearby. So happy that we stopped here instead!! Started with a cocktail that waiter recommended, yes they have cocktails! Very good choice, pineapple drink made with Jameson whiskey! We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer, delicious! We both ordered different entrees. First I want to say that it was about 6 pm. There was no wait to be seated. There was barely any wait for our drinks, the most time spent was picking out what to eat! Such a great menu of food! Not a long wait on food. Waiter was fantastic ( wish I could remember his name). From the drinks down to the food and atmosphere I could have sworn I was in Memphis! Loved loved this restaurant!! Wishing there was one in Peoria!! Definitely great dining experience!!
I have been here a bunch of times, and the wings to die for extra crispy, pulled pork a must have loaf of cornbread yes salmon yes, steak yes cold beer yes,and a margarita.😁
We ordered for pickup. I had the salmon with lemon butter. It was delicious! My husband had the hand pulled pork platter and he loved it! We will order this again. We recommend Smokey Bones in Springfield, IL.
A little different these days. To go order super easy, just park and call with the number you are at. Thanks!
Ribs and fried pickles were awesome which is why it got a 3. We tried a bit of everything and other than the ribs and pickles it was all disappointing. Our server didn’t really seem to have time for us. And our bill was $100 before tip. I don’t mind paying for good food but this food was definitely not a worth what you pay. Prob won’t return.
The ribs were good the baked beans not so good a little plate with a big price ticket it was nothing like I expected
Nachos were delicious, drinks were good. Steak was meh, they did take good care of us though
It's not a disliked location. We didn't get the chance to try it. The sign and online said open until 10pm,pull into a numbered spot, grab a menu, and call. The number when ready to order. We arrived at 830,did as instructed, only to be turned away. They said oh yes we're open until 10 but we don't serve after 830pm. It was quite disappointing because we sure had our hearts set on a family sized order of deliciousness.
Always great food here. Small drive since we don't have one in our city.. but well worth the drive.. love these new brown sugar rubbed and bacon coated ribs b!!
Good baby back rib's, baked potato excellent, tap beer and good service.
Our first visit and the food and service was amazing! The ribs were outstanding! We are definitely going back!
